This is Growing Care as it is at the moment, a block built storeroom with WC and shower, a temporary block link, which replaced the awning that didn't survive last winter and the little touring caravan, in which Lew and Jacquie arrived here many years ago.

During the summer the new animal houses were constructed using the traditional mud and straw bricks that were made on-site and left to bake hard in the sun. Once rendered they are remarkably durable and many village houses are constructed using this method.
