GROWING CARE SPECIAL APPEAL FOR FUNDS TO ENABLE THIS ROMANIAN LAD TO HAVE A MUCH NEEDED HEART OPERATION

This seven year old Romanian lad has a heart condition, which leaves him constantly breathless and weak, even walking to school tires him out.

UK Registered Charity No. 1095801

Cultivating knowledge in Romania

There is no National Health in Romania and his family are very poor and can only pray that Mel survives another Romanian winter.

Growing Care is a charitable organisation run by Lewis and Jacquie Aubry, who's main aim is to teach animal husbandry and cultivation skills to youngsters so that they can become self sufficient in food.

The operation on Mel's heart would cost around £1,600 plus hospital and aftercare costs bringing the total to at least £2,000. A sum his family could never afford as the four of them survive on an income of less than £40 a month.

Please enter 'Mel Appeal' in the Donor Instruction box. THANK YOU

Mel lives with his parents and older brother in a simple two roomed building not far from the village of  Siminoc in Romania.

There is no electricity and cooking has to be carried out on an old solid fuel stove located in the yard outside.
